With the nice weather and use of the playground, our office collection of Lost and Found has grown!
Yesterday a baseball cap and a prescription were turned in. If you are missing either of these items, please stop in the office and claim them. Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 3 pm May 4, 2013 is Dumpster Day in Riverside Borough.. Dumpsters will be placed at the Borough Garage, Avenue D from 7 am - 2 pm on that date. Riverside will not be accepting paint, leaves, limbs, wood, grass, ashes, asbestos, batteries or contractors waste nor tractor tires.
Charge for Freon appliance is $15.00 and $6.00 for tires. A separate dumpster will be available for electronic recycling - tvs, computers, etc. Proof of residency will be required. Once on borough property, dumpster items become property of the borough. Christopher Morgan is doing an Eagle Scout Project at the Riverside Memorial Monument located at the Park. Chris will be adding flags for each branch of the military. Anyone wishing to help in this project, please come to the Riverside Park on March 30, 2013 at 9 am! Chris is hoping to have work parties on Saturdays in April - 6, 13 and 20. When completed, this will be a most wonderful tribute to those who have served and are serving our country! Come out and
The Lost and Found collection is growing in the Borough Office. A jacket has been found on the playground. Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver will hold a Community Outreach time at the Riverside Municipal Building, 301 Dewart Street, Riverside, on Friday, May 3, 2013 during the hours of 9:00 am - 12:00 Noon.
