TRAIL WORK DAYS Wednesday, 3/16 8am - 2pm Thursday, 3/17 10am - 2pm Please join us on the trail tomorrow and Thursday for the next round of North Branch Canal Trail work days. We'll meet both days at the Mahoning Township trailhead, working our way east from that location toward Catawissa. We'll clean up anything that came down during the winter and resume clearing where we stopped late last fall. Please wear sturdy boots and work gloves and dress for the weather. Pruners and saws will be the tools of choice for these work days. If you can't be there at 8am (or 10am Thursday) but want to come later, please park at the trailhead and walk east on the trail until you find us. Please respect the private property along both sides of the corridor and do not leave the trail. Donate now to help build the North Branch Canal Trail Even if you can't volunteer on one of the trail work days, you can still help build the trail. Please consider making a donation to help support our efforts. Online donations are being accepted through the Montour Area Recreation Commission's fund at the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation.
