​We have received a shipment of hats, t shirts and blankets for those who had asked about purchasing them. Stop in the office and pick up a mug, glass, tumbler, t shirt, blanket or hat for those college students that are now away from home! Great Christmas suggestions!! We also have maps and books available. Books are going to be wonderful to read on a cold winter's night or a too hot to be outside summer day!

The Riverside Borough Council will hold meetings at the Riverside Borough Municipal Building, 415 Dewart Street, Riverside, PA commencing at 7:00 pm on the following dates:

​TODAY'S THE DAY!!
Stop at the Danville/Riverside Airport this afternoon and let the kids enjoy the bouncy house, slide and games while the adults check out the car cruise in entries. Enjoy a pulled pork sandwich from the grill of Grant Fritz or some homemade ice cream from Glenda and Scott! Scout Troop will be on hand with games and food as well. We will have the 150 Year merchandise available for purchase. At 5 pm we will be holding the raffle for the YETI COOLER with A $500 MEAT GIFT CERTIFICATE TO GEORGE FARMS.
Tickets will be available for purchase up until 5 pm draw time. Then at approximately 9:15 pm the Finale fireworks will be lighting up the sky from the airport runway!
This is our final event for the summer of celebrating this wonderful milestone for Riverside Borough - 150 Years!!

​THE CELEBRATION ON AUGUST 21 (SATURDAY) IS AT THE AIRPORT! The newspaper erroneously listed Southside Fire Company.
Events begin at 1 pm at the Airport including car cruise in,
inflatables for the kids - bouncy house, games and slide plus games by the Scout Troop! Pig Roast by Grant Fritz and Homemade ice cream by Glenda and Scott; desserts by Tye Dyed Tootsies! The drawing for the YETI COOLER/$500 MEAT CERTIFICATE WILL TAKE PLACE AT 5 PM!! Fireworks at 9:15 pm or shortly thereafter!

Riverside Borough Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, August 18 at 6 pm in the Municipal Building, 415 Dewart Street.  The meeting will be regarding removal of the contents of the former Riverside Elementary School.
